- Surakshit Hum Surakshit Tum Abhiyaan
Context
- NITI Aayog & Piramal collaboratively launched Surakshit Hum Surakshit Tum Abhiyan in 112 Aspirational districts.
Features of this Program
- It will assist district administrations in providing home care support to covid 19 patients who are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms.
- It will be led by district magistrates in partnership with over 1000 local NGOs.
- Under this program 1 lakh volunteers will be trained to connect with patients.
- The campaign is expected to play a key role in district preparedness for managing nearly 70% of Covid cases at home, reducing pressure on the health system, and stemming the spread of fear amongst the people.
- And this program will also undertake capacity building of citizens for the effective usage of Oxygen concentrators that have been supplied to these districts.
- NGOs will mobilize local volunteers to provide home-care support to those affected, based on the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Context
- These 2 schemes were announced by Haryana CM - Manohar Lal Khattar on the occasion of World Environment Day (5 June)
- Under this scheme (PVDPS), all trees which were aged 75 years will be identified throughout the state.
- 2500rs will be given for the maintenance of those trees. This pension will increase every on the line of Old Age Samman Pension Scheme in Haryana.
- Oxy Van (Oxygen Forests) are pieces of land on which around 3 crore trees would be planted.
- Under this scheme, Oxy Van will be planted in the cities of Haryana around 5-100 acres
- Sunil Chhetri became the 2nd highest active international goal scorer with 74 strikes.
- He made this record in a joint preliminary qualifying match for 2022 FIFA World Cup
and 2023 AFC Asia Cup.
