• when we talk about fluid mechanics, First question in our mind is, What is Fluid Mechanics????🤔

• Fluid mechanics is the branch of physics concerned with the mechanics of fluids (liquids, gases, and plasmas) and the forces on them.

We can understand from above defination is that fluid mechanics is something that deals with the forces acting on fluids.

• 🤔 Again, What is Fluid???
• a fluid is a substance that continually deforms (flows) under an applied shear stress, or external force.

• Classification -
• Fluid Statics (Hydrostatics)
• Study of fluids at rest.
• Hydrostatics gives explainations for many daily life applications such as 
• Why atmospheric pressure changes with altitude? 
• Why wood and oil float on water? 
• Why the surface of water is always level whatever the shape of its container?

                    etc........

• Fluid Dynamics
• Study of the effect of forces on fluid motion.
• Fluid Dynamics also have wide range of applications,
• Design of air craft
• Determining mass flow rate through pipes.(Design of pipes,cyinders according to pressures to be with stand)
